The Museum of the Grand Prairie in Mahomet is now open for the season.
The museum started operating on its spring hours on Friday following its closure in January and February for maintenance and the completion of what the museum called “special projects.” From March 1 to Memorial Day, the museum will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. every day of the week.
Admission is free.
More information about the museum can be found on its website and Facebook page. Anyone with questions can call the museum at 217-586-2612.
