The Champaign County Forest Preserves Snowflake Search continues on for one more week! Get out and find as many snowflakes as you can while you can. Have you found the snowflake/QR code about the Forest Preserve Friends Foundation? The Forest Preserve Friends Foundation was one of the earliest supporters of the Museum of the Grand Prairie!

The foundation worked alongside the Champaign County African American History Committee to jumpstart important cultural and historical projects such as the Through the Years Newsletters. The committee's aim was to chronicle and distribute the African-American history and heritage of Champaign County, Illinois. The committee published its final issue in 2002.
