American Woodcocks are picky about the weather conditions in which they perform their amazing courtship displays at dusk in March. Forest Preserve staff will be monitoring the preserves for peak woodcock activity, and you will be invited to join us for a short presentation followed by a walk to witness the elusive sky dance when the time is just right.
