In 1830, the young Kentuckian moved to Illinois where he worked a variety of jobs, some of which were in central Illinois. 31 years later, Lincoln would become the 16th U.S. President. Join us on Lincoln’s birthday as we celebrate his legacy with educational activities and offerings! Learn how to use Lincoln’s preferred writing utensil – the quill pen.
