Online Event: Streaming on the Museum of the Grand Prairie Facebook and YouTube pages
Join us for another virtual program in our special exhibit speaker series! Julie Pryde, Administrator of the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, will provide a brief history of the local public health district. In addition to this history, Pryde will also discuss reportable diseases, what they are, and how the process of disease reporting works. Be sure to visit the Museum of the Grand Prairie’s special exhibit “A History of Healing: Infectious Diseases and Community Responses to Defeat Them” to learn more about local public health and the impact of disease on the Champaign County and central Illinois community. FREE. For more info: (217) 586-2612 or pcain@ccfpd.org.
