Everyone is invited to the opening of the Healing Hearts Community Collage with artist Cindy Sampson and Champaign County Community Member Contributors!

During the summer of 2022, people throughout Champaign County responded through art to the multiple pandemics they experienced in the past 2 + years. They contributed photos, visual arts and poems relating to COVID 19, Systemic Racism and other Social Injustices, Economic Crisis, Climate Change, Mental Health Challenges, Gun Violence and Political Polarization.

Individual submissions were compiled into one cohesive collage by artist Cindy Sampson.

The collage will be on exhibition at Museum of the Grand Prairie as part of our, “History of Healing,” exhibit and later become part of our permanent collection to document these historic times for generations to come.

Join us as we come together to celebrate this beautiful community accomplishment. Light refreshments will be served.
