Location: Dark Sky Trail, Middle Fork River Forest Preserve, 8-11 PM 

Park at the Activity Center, then follow the signs to walk a scenic half mile to the Observatory. Meet at the Observatory at 8 PM for an exciting presentation from the Champaign-Urbana Astronomical Society. Then take a walk under the stars along the new Dark Sky Trail and stop along the way to peer through CUAS members’ telescopes. Tonight, we may have the chance to observe the Perseid meteor shower.
