Some people don’t love Valentine’s Day. Guess what? There is a long tradition of that! Vinegar Valentines were popular for 100 years! They were meant to say, “I reject your attention.” Many are unkind. Here’s one that makes fun of a woman’s insincere smile and another that compares a man to a snake! We have a few in the museum’s collection too! Did you ever get one?
