Due to icy road conditions and the predicted forecast for the day, the forest preserves including the Museum of the Grand Prairie, Homer Lake Interpretive Center, and Lake of the Woods Golf Course will remain closed as roads remain iced over despite sanding/salt efforts. Crews are working hard to make the roads and parking lots safe for driving and visitors.
