Visitors really DIG Museum Mondays!

The theme for our most recent program was “Fun with Fossils!" Participants had the opportunity to explore some fossilized artifacts on display, learn more about what fossils are and what sorts of fossils have been found in central IL, and participate in a mini fossil dig of their own! In addition to locating fossils in their digs, visitors had to work together, much like paleontologists do, to put together puzzle pieces that were also found in their digs!
